Phoenix Q&A

I only got about 15 in my neighborhood in Glendale. My street doesn’t put up much decorations so maybe it put off the kids to go in a different direction

We went to the theater last night and they turned us away at the parking garage telling us the show was cancelled. We're not sure why, but the reason given was that 'too many crew called out'. This sounds really strange to us.

I own a bike rental in Phoenix and I've noticed the city has started replacing crosswalks with zebra crossings on McDowell Rd. I'm wondering if this is a new policy for pedestrian crossings in Phoenix.

I live in the Ocotillo area, I've experienced loud rumble and bass sounds at my house multiple times, including last night, and I'm wondering what could be causing it.

Planning on riding the canal in the morning but don’t know how the conditions are after the rain we had today. I usually ride the canal in the morning, but I don't want to get stuck in a muddy mess.

I've been following the news about the 2027 rate increases in Arizona and I'm concerned that the average increase of 29% is nearly double the national average. I've read that Arizona is one of only five states that prohibits blocking rate increases after review. I'm worried about the impact this will have on residents who are already struggling to afford healthcare. Can anyone explain why Arizona's increases are so high?

I'm thinking of celebrating my birthday by giving back to the community in Phoenix. I'm born and raised here and I want to give back in a small way. If you had $200-$500 to pay for people's items, where or what would you do?

I'm a 30-year-old man in Queen Creek looking for a regular, casual Magic: The Gathering pod where my 6-year-old daughter can also come with me. I'd like to find a group that's already hosting, and I'm open to playing Commander and other formats like 2-headed giant.

I've been teaching surfing lessons at my school in Phoenix for years, but the mosquitoes this year are unbearable. I'm worried they'll ruin the summer for my students.

I hired a vendor in May 2026 for a service and put down a deposit. I need to sue for non-performance and to get my deposit back. The amount is too small for small claims but not much bigger.

A friend was hit by a car while walking her dog on Saturday at the intersection of Missouri and 8th place / 7th street in Phoenix. The car fled the scene and my friend is in critical condition. If anyone has any information or witnessed the accident, please reach out to the police. I've checked and there are no Flock cameras in the area.

I've seen my 12 private jets landing at Sky Harbor in 30 minutes. I'm wondering what's going on in Phoenix.

We've been seeing four medium-sized hawks coming down to drink from a water source in our yard. They don't seem like the right size or colors for Red Tail Hawks. I didn't know hawks like being in groups, or at least being sociable for a while.

I've been experiencing issues with PBS channels on my TV in Glendale. The channels are always delayed or have artifacts, and it's only PBS that's affected. I've checked my antenna and it's working fine.

I live in Phoenix, I'm concerned about the city's resources being wasted on fires caused by abandoned buildings, and I'm wondering if property owners should be held accountable for not maintaining their properties.

I'm looking for a place to catch the 10am Panthers game this Sunday, preferably somewhere between the Biltmore area and North Phoenix, near Chino Bandido. I'm bad with directions.

I've been a member of Costco for years and have always noticed that their gas prices are lower than other stations. However, in the past few weeks, I've noticed that their prices are the same as many other gas stations. I've checked at the Chandler and Gilbert locations and it's not just a one-time thing. Has anyone else experienced this?
