The Phoenix zoo is pretty dope, and she might enjoy the desert botanical garden right next to it. I could spend a whole day at those two places.

You could visit the Snakes and Lattes in Tempe to enjoy a meal and play board games, then stroll around Mill Avenue and browse the shops. Additionally, consider heading to Flagstaff and visiting the Observatory after driving up there. If you're a fan of ice cream, check out the Nemesis Club, a store with a hidden escape room designed by former Disney Imagineers. You might also want to catch a Suns basketball game or explore a local farmers market. Lastly, the Scottsdale Fashion Square is a great place to spend some time.
