I'm a homeschooling mom in Phoenix with an autistic 3rd grader who enjoys anime, gaming, and making paper dragon puppets. We've had trouble finding autism support groups or co-ops for socialization, and I'm looking for a community where my child can connect with others who share similar interests.

I only got about 15 in my neighborhood in Glendale. My street doesn’t put up much decorations so maybe it put off the kids to go in a different direction

A friend was hit by a car while walking her dog on Saturday at the intersection of Missouri and 8th place / 7th street in Phoenix. The car fled the scene and my friend is in critical condition. If anyone has any information or witnessed the accident, please reach out to the police. I've checked and there are no Flock cameras in the area.

We've been seeing four medium-sized hawks coming down to drink from a water source in our yard. They don't seem like the right size or colors for Red Tail Hawks. I didn't know hawks like being in groups, or at least being sociable for a while.

I daily drive Camelback and always smiled when passing the house with the golf cart on top of the palm. Looked forward to the Halloween decorations but sadly seems the cart is gone?

We're going on a 4-day trip out of town and I'm not sure if it's safe to leave the AC off with the windows closed, given the average high temperature will be in the 70s with one day showing 80s. We have no plants or pets, but I'm still concerned about the inside temperature.

I found this little guy in my house and I'm not sure what to do with him. My research says he's a Mediterranean house gecko, which is not native to the area, but I'm not sure if he's a lost pet or not. I've got him in a small enclosure with crickets to eat, but I don't know much about caring for him.
