I'm a mom of two living in Houston, and I want to make sure I get it right at the polls. I have a printer sample and want to know if I can take it with me to the polling station.

I'll be driving by Greenspoint Mall tomorrow and want to know if I can still drive around it and take a look, without having to go inside.

I'm considering moving from Pearland to a more rural, wooded area like New Waverly or Willis. I'm drawn to the wooded setting and being near Lake Conroe, but I'm concerned about the culture shock of leaving a suburban area like Pearland.

I'm looking for a new gym since I don't like Fitness Connection. I'm considering LA or EOS since they're relatively affordable, but I'm not sure if I can afford Lifetime Fitness or Equinox.

I've been trying to get rid of some heavy trash, but the solid waste management website calendar says it's every other month, but I put a mattress out on the curb and it's been several days. I've also seen internet searches saying you need to schedule it, but their website still designates heavy trash pickup days. Which is it?

I've been called for jury duty and I'm debating whether to drive myself to the courthouse downtown or take the Metro from the Katy Area Park and Ride. I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with this route.

My group is heading back to Austin for Freaky Deaky at the Travis County Expo Center on October 30 and 31. We're trying to get inside around 3:30 PM Friday instead of rushing in after dark. Parking opens at 2 PM and gates open at 3 PM, so we're thinking about leaving Houston at 8:30 AM. Would you stick with US-290 or take I-10 to 71? Every time we've left after lunch on a Friday, we've gotten stuck on 290 near Elgin.

I went to get a coffee today and the place was shut down with a notice on the door. The notice said the locks had been changed and the tenant's right to possession had been terminated, but the lease wasn't terminated. I've never heard of this place before, but it sounds like they weren't paying the rent.

I'm looking for a dish for a school project on solar concentration and solar cooking. I need a parabolic dish that's at least 30 inches in diameter.

I've seen my HOA fees nearly double in the past year, from $300 to almost $650, in a neighborhood with 1980s properties and condos listed for sale under $150K. It's not like the complex is some luxury resort. Is this just a management issue or is there something more going on?
