Seton YMCA is attached to a branch of the Library. It is tremendous and has all kinds of places to sit. There is a cafe there but there's no requirement to purchase. Places to sit outside, inside, in the library itself... you can watch the various pools and the hockey rink. It's a lovely, spacious, clean space built in 2019 and it's a nice place to spend time.

Black Sheep Mattress Company is a local family business that makes their mattresses right here in the city. People who have bought from them say great things about the quality, and it's worth noting that it's not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for.

I bought my condo in Sage Hill - it's fine. Most necessities are close, even walking distance depending. If you take transit however it's horrible with no train access or station close. Mostly bought here for bang for buck honestly. Same price range in lots of other areas gets you a condo built 25+ years ago with higher condo fees

Thomson's has a really wonderful breakfast buffet with exceptional quality items, including a sleeper buffet that is almost too good to recommend out loud. It's located in the Hyatt Hotel downtown, right off the train line, and serves a high-quality breakfast buffet on Sunday mornings.

Renting gear from U of C is very affordable. It's a great way to try out skiing or snowboarding without breaking the bank, and you can always upgrade to your own gear later.

Simons has some nice towels that hold up well and didn't cost a fortune. It's a good option if you're willing to invest a bit in your new towels.

The return of the 2004 Flames jerseys has brought a lot of excitement to Calgary fans, and the Saddledome, the home arena of the Calgary Flames, has become a central hub for these celebrations. The Saddledome, with its iconic design and rich history, serves as a fitting venue for these throwback jerseys. Fans can witness the return of this beloved look on ice, with the first game featuring the 2004 jerseys scheduled for October 24th against the Detroit Red Wings. Visiting the Saddledome allows fans to experience the nostalgia and provides a glimpse into the team’s rich history. The arena, which has been the Flames’ home for 43 years, is set to be the last venue for the team. This makes the upcoming games even more significant as fans can witness this historic moment from the very arena where it all began.

The Calgary Flames have announced two cuts from their training camp roster, highlighting the importance of the team’s management and development process. While not directly related to the article, the Calgary Flames Hotel remains a notable accommodation option for those following Flames games or training camp events. Located in downtown Calgary, the Flames Hotel offers convenient access to the team's facilities and arenas. For those looking to stay close to the Flames action, the Calgary Flames Hotel provides a comfortable and convenient option. Situated just steps away from the team's training facilities and arenas, the hotel offers easy access to all the amenities and activities the Flames organization has to offer.
