I'm moving to PDC in a couple months and looking for a furnished apartment for 6-12 months. I work remotely so I need reliable internet. Budget is around $800-1200 USD/month. Which colonias should I focus on?

For your budget and needs, I'd recommend these neighborhoods: Centro / 5th Avenue area — Walking distance to everything, lots of furnished apartments in the $900-1100 range. Can be noisy on weekends near the bars. Gonzalo Guerrero — The expat favorite. Quieter than centro, great cafes and restaurants on 30th Ave. Furnished 1BR apartments go for $800-1000. Internet is generally reliable here. Playacar Phase 2 — Gated community, very safe, beautiful but more isolated. You'll need a bike or car. Apartments start around $1000. Zazil-Ha — Up-and-coming area north of centro. Newer buildings with better internet infrastructure. Good value at $700-900. Avoid signing anything without seeing the place in person first. Many landlords on Facebook groups will try to get deposits before you arrive. Use Inmuebles24 or ask in local expat groups for vetted options.
