How do thieves steal a car in Panama City?

I've always been curious about how car thieves operate in Panama City, especially with all the stories about cars being stolen in a matter of minutes. I'd like to know the methods they use to steal a car, specifically the keyless entry system.

There's a video that explains how they steal cars, but in this case, the thief is close to the car and clones the signal of the key when the owner leaves the vehicle. This only applies if the key has automatic opening.

In my case, the thief broke the window, but it's possible that they had a backup plan in case the cameras caught them.

I had my Hyundai Creta 2020 stolen last year, and what they did was break the window to get the key. They then used the key to start the car, and once they had it running, they disconnected the ignition cylinder and took the car. The interesting thing is that they didn't leave any fingerprints because they pushed the glass back into the car.

Hyundai and Kia cars are particularly easy to steal, and in some cases, you don't even need to disconnect the ignition cylinder. They can just use a USB stick as a key to start the car.
