How many trick or treaters are you getting in your Calgary community this year?

I'm curious to see how the number of trick or treaters compares to previous years, especially since Halloween is on a Saturday night this year.

It's been a quiet Halloween so far. We've only had one little trick-or-treater. I'm starting to wonder if the lack of kids is due to Halloween falling on a Saturday night this year. Maybe people are waiting until later to go out.

We're in Ranchlands and have a decent haul so far. We've got big chocolate bars, chips, and glow sticks. At 7:11 pm, we've seen 6 kids.

In West Springs, we've seen a lot of activity. By 7:50 pm, we'd already had 215 kids. The night is still young!

We've had a big turnout in Evanston. We ran out of candy after 330 kids and had to turn off the lights. It was a busy night!

We live in Glamorgan and left a big bowl of candy out for the trick-or-treaters. We had 7 cute kids come by, but then a family of 7, with an adult present, took the entire bowl. They even tried to block our doorbell camera. It's disappointing to see that kind of behavior. On the other hand, it's great to see kids putting their own candy back when a bowl is empty so others can have some.
