The Beehive is a great place to find local jewelry and accessories at reasonable prices ( It's located within a 2-3 mile radius of Midtown Atlanta, making it easily accessible for a gift-hunting trip.

ShoppingBuckhead •LukasLukas

Dick's Sporting Goods in Buckhead had a lot of ATL Dream gear when one person visited about 3 weeks ago. However, the selection has dwindled since then, with limited sizes and selection available.

Charis Books and More is a queer-friendly bookstore in Decatur with a great selection of books for queer folks and fun little knick-knacks. It's an amazingly queer-friendly place that you should take your daughter, especially since it supports the local LGBTQIA+ community.

Wagaya is a grocery store that offers Onigiri, a type of Japanese rice ball snack. Wagaya is the only place that does umeboshi onigiri, and that's my favorite. Their pickles are great too! Wagaya is also open for lunch, making it a convenient option for those looking for a quicker alternative to making their own Onigiri.

ShoppingAtlantic Station •Ana Fernandes

The Atlanta United team store in Atlantic Station is a great place to find gear for the kids, although it's only Atlanta United and Falcons gear, not general soccer. Atlantic Station is also a pretty okay place to do some general walking around with kids, window shop, get some ice cream, maybe see a movie!

Here's a possible solution for your Oktoberfest fest: Dollar Tree sells 26.5 oz generic beer glasses and Pilsners for ~$1.50 each, which are quite thick and heavy glass. They might not be exactly what you're looking for, but they're a good alternative and were in stock at stores around the area within the past few weeks.

Levi's store has better quality Levi's than the mega stores, with a clear difference in quality visible by looking at the back tag. Bad Levi's use thick cardboard for the patch while better Levi's use leather. They have lots of big baggy styles right now too, but keep in mind that they are more expensive than what you'd find at mega stores, and even more expensive online.

The Supermarket has tons of different events happening all the time, including yoga classes, silent discos, book clubs, and art galleries. Search their Instagram to find something that suits your interests.

Nordstrom Rack is my personal favorite and you 100% should be able to find pants at Old Navy. It's located in the Buckhead Station shopping center, which also has a TJ Maxx, Saks Off Fifth, Bloomingdale's Outlet, and DSW.

ShoppingPonce City Market •gabriel_ingr

Archer Paper Goods is a great stationery shop to visit, and it's conveniently located at Ponce City Market. As a small business owner myself, I appreciate the unique offerings at Ponce City Market, and Archer Paper Goods is no exception. You can find stationery, gifts, and other items, making it a great place to explore and discover new things.
