I've been here for a while and there's been a lot of talk about an apparent 'Super El Niño' that will cause huge disasters. Yet it's November, and the weather is still rainy and cloudy. So what exactly is different to the weather we always have?

It's puzzling that global warming is causing temperatures to rise, yet we're experiencing a cold day today.

Global warming is a long-term phenomenon, whereas El Niño is a short-term weather pattern. They are not directly comparable.

The Super El Niño has had a significant impact on Cambodia's weather. The rainy season started later than usual and was initially drier and hotter, followed by severe late-season storms and flooding. Additionally, the temperatures have been higher than in previous rainy seasons. Many countries worldwide have experienced extreme dryness, while others have seen record-breaking floods.
