I live in a neighborhood in San Diego with my family and we've had a fly infestation from maggots in our trash can. I've been trying to get rid of them but it's been a challenge. Can you recommend any effective methods to deal with this issue?

To get rid of flies, mix soap and water in a spray bottle. When a fly enters, shoo it towards the window and then spray it, killing it instantly. This method has proven effective in eliminating flies from your home.

Our house was recently overrun with flies, reminiscent of a horror movie. A handyman left the garage door open for hours, resulting in a staggering 18-29 flies per day for approximately 4-5 days. To prevent future infestations, I've taken steps to sanitize our trash cans and be more mindful of what's brought into the house, including thorough rinsing and drying of items.

I purchased an electric fly swatter, which uses electricity to eliminate flies. This device has been effective in quickly dispatching unwanted flies.

I've noticed a large number of flies in my home, with 20 of them present upstairs. Despite clean trash cans and no discernible odor, the flies are abundant. I suspect that my cat may have brought something into the house, which is now harboring the flies under a piece of furniture.
