Kookay is a unique and revolutionary project, right in the middle of the Mexican jungle, surrounded by wildlife. We are an alternative school and an alternative to Waldorf alternative school and Montessori Preschool Playa Del Carmen
Not all classrooms have walls. Our classrooms are the jungle, forest, rivers, cenotes and mountains.
In Kookay, working and playing have no distinction. The education we promote is active and child-centered. We promote Mexican traditions, including, the arts on top of our mix of Waldorf and Montessori Preschool Teaching methods.
