On August 17, 2026, two accidents involving live wires resulted in severe burns to a motorcyclist and the burning of three vehicles. These incidents underscore the urgency of the repairs. The CFE plans to address these issues by replacing old poles and hardware, with work currently underway in the Ampliación La Gloria neighborhood.

Residents can expect some disruption as the CFE proceeds with the maintenance program. However, the municipal government is committed to facilitating the work and ensuring that the project is completed as smoothly as possible.
