What happened to Marfreless?

I used to go here 15-18 years ago with my then girlfriend and it was a pretty good place. I recently moved back to Houston and I went to Marfreless earlier in the evening today with my wife super excited in anticipation.

To be honest, the upstairs area has really declined. It seems like most people have lost interest in it.

The lack of supervision upstairs has led to some concerning situations. There are single men who are secretly filming, which makes the atmosphere feel quite intimidating.
