I was at the recycling center today and decided to return all the cans and bottles I've collected at home. I took my bike and dragged two big plastic bags to the recycling center (each bag was 10 dollars, I spent the equivalent of two cans to drag cans to the recycling center). My earnings: 7 dollars. Why do I have to collect and drag this volume for 7 meager dollars?

I live in Shaughnessy Village and I'm concerned about a dog being left out on a balcony. The owner seems to be neglecting the animal and it's causing a disturbance in the building. I've already tried checking with building security, but they weren't available when I went to speak with them.
I bought my first ever Montreal Canadiens tickets through billets.ca and I'm stressed about not receiving the tickets in time for the match. The delivery date is after the match and I'm worried about the cost.
I'm a remote worker living in Montreal, trying to buy something from a local seller who's hesitant to meet outside. I've tried the safe trading zones but want to know if it's possible to complete a transaction directly inside a police station.
I live in Little Italy with my two kids and we've been experiencing frequent morning buzzers at 5am. We've tried not responding, but it's becoming stressful and I'm not sure what to do. I've changed apartments recently and the new buzzer system is different from our old one, which made it easier to ignore unwanted visitors.
I'm trying to figure out how urgently my landlord is required to address the heating issue in my apartment. Temperatures aren't below zero yet, but the apartment can't get above 19 degrees. We've been relying on space heaters, but the electrical circuits can't handle them consistently and have been tripping. The caretaker bled our radiators, but confirmed that no heat is actually reaching them, and only one of four furnaces is functioning for the building's heating/hot water system.
I run a small taco stand in Montreal and I desperately need a hair cut but I'm also really protective/nervous about hair cuts. I'd like to see someone that knows how to cut long hair and do things like wolf cuts but some of the prices are staggering and I'm really nervous about my hair being messed up.
My wife and I rented an Air BnB in the Village and admittedly didn’t do enough research. It’s rougher here than we thought it would be.
I'm organizing a rather niche event for Halloween, with a target audience of people who are into anime or more geeky things. I'd like to reach younger people, geeks, students, etc. without breaking the bank.
I'm trying to decide how much to tip for food delivery, and I've heard some people never tip and others give a few bucks or a standard percentage.
My partner and I want to have a very small wedding, just for our parents and us. We don't need anything fancy. Do you know of a small, affordable venue in Montreal where we can hold the ceremony? I've seen all the big wedding halls online, but I'm not sure if there's a place that can accommodate just 10 people or less.
My sister just broke her ankle and was discharged from the ER north of Montreal. The doctor said she needs to wear a tall boot (an Aircast/walking boot, according to the prescription). They suggested two shops, but they are quite far from downtown.
I just moved in and there's a six-story building in front of my window in Outremont that emits a constant high-pitched noise, like a mix of ventilation and machinery. It's not super loud, but it's really annoying and never stops.
I'm looking for a new neighborhood and one of my criteria is having a very high-speed fiber internet connection (> 1G). However, apart from writing random addresses on Bell or Videotron's website, I don't see how I can find areas with actual fiber.
I recently had my car broken into and stolen in the Plateau area of Montreal, but luckily it was recovered through the Toyota app. I'm still trying to understand why it happened.
