We both held our lanterns over the crowd on the Covered Bridge
A tour group arrived on the Japanese Covered Bridge around 5pm when we were both in the middle, you holding a paper lantern over your head so it would not get crushed. I held mine up too. For about a minute we were two people with glowing paper above the crowd, trying not to laugh. Then the crowd moved and you were gone. I hope your lantern survived. Mine did, and now it hangs in my room. It is yellow. Yours was blue, I think. I am not sure.
