The Weekday School

The Weekday School is a progressive, play-based school in Morningside Heights, New York City, serving families with children ages two through five years old. Our diverse community fosters sharing, understanding, and respect while focusing on the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child.

Our school offers daily specials, catered lunch and snack, outside time, and screen-free classrooms. We also have specialized indoor spaces for art, library, music, and dance, as well as two outdoor play areas. Our students regularly volunteer at the Riverside Church Food Pantry, learning empathy, generosity, and the value of giving back from an early age.
