I'm planning a bike ride through Fish Creek with a trailer behind, and I know there were recent closures on the east side from the ranch to McLeod Trail.

I rode the path a couple of weeks ago and it was still closed. You might want to check the latest updates before heading out.

To get through the closure from Bow Valley Ranch to McLeod Trail, you can use the new pathways, the secondary gravel pathways, or run up to the residential areas. We also found that the trail was closed west of McLeod towards Bebo Grove, but you can detour north to Canyon Meadows and continue westwards, then come down south along Elbow Drive.

I rode the path today between Shawnee Slopes and Canyon Meadows, and it's now open with fresh asphalt, a wider path, and improved intersections.

From Voitier's Flats to the area west of Bow Valley Ranch, the road has been freshly paved. However, the section between Midnapore and bridge 10 still has ongoing construction.
