Unauthorized vehicle registration in Toronto - how to get ServiceOntario to remove it?

Transport vor 2T 2 answers • Alessia

I recently discovered that a vehicle and Ontario plates had been registered in my name without my knowledge or authorization. I've tried to report the issue to ServiceOntario, but they just told me to submit a Record Search Application. I've also contacted the police, but they're not sure how they can help me. I'm looking for advice on how to get ServiceOntario to remove the vehicle/plates from my record.

Don't forget to check your credit report as well. If the vehicle is registered in your name, it's likely that the financing for the vehicle is also in your name.

Maybe report the vehicle stolen.
