According to Emprhotur, this hike poses a significant risk to the competitiveness of La Paz as a tourist destination.

Gilberto Santisteban Flores, a spokesperson for the hospitality sector, warns that this increase could lead to a loss of up to 265,000 passengers. If this happens, it could severely impact the local economy, especially in a place where tourism is the backbone of the community.
