Original Wicked Wedge Owners?

Original Wicked Wedge Owners?
Dienste 4 answers • rocio
I've been thinking about my favorite pizza joint from the late 90s/early 2000s, Wicked Wedge, which was located on 17th Avenue. I remember it being super busy and loved their pizza. I think they sold to a new owner shortly after I moved away and they didn't last long after. Anyone know who the original owner was and why the new owners couldn't keep a gold mine going?

I visited Chinook Mall, but it wasn't the same as the original location on 17th Avenue. I assumed Una Pizza and Wine Bar was the original Wicked Wedge, but with a more refined menu, which might not be officially confirmed.

The owner was a charismatic character, but moving to Chinook Mall due to high rent was a significant blow to the business. He later relocated to the food court, which was renovated at the time, but it didn't last long.

The original owner started a business, which was later sold and is now known as Fergus & Bix.
