Multiple snowfalls in October before Halloween in Calgary?

I can remember previous years where it was very cold, snowy and icy at Halloween. I can also remember early snow storms like Snowtember in 2014. But I can't remember a year in which we had multiple October snow falls before Halloween. We often get one, but two or three? There is still a week to go and we may get even more small snow falls!

In Calgary, it's not uncommon for the first snowfall to occur in the third week of October, but the real snow usually doesn't arrive until December.

In Calgary, it's common for light snow to fall and then melt before Halloween, although it's not unheard of for snow to fall on Halloween itself.

As a long-time resident of Calgary, I've noticed that the minor snowfalls we've had before Halloween this year seem unusual, as we usually get one quick snow dump that melts, not a prolonged period of snow.
