Best Pelvic Floor Physiotherapists in NW Calgary for Pregnancy and Postpartum?
Health & Wellness 5 answers • taeyang
I'm 9 weeks pregnant and thinking about doing pelvic floor physical therapy to help with pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I've heard great things about Moss Postpartum and their pelvic floor physiotherapists, but I'd love to hear from other women who have had positive experiences with pelvic floor physio in the NW. Specifically, I'm curious about recommendations for pelvic floor physiotherapists and prenatal yoga classes.

I also had a positive experience with a physiotherapist at Moss.

I attended pelvic physical therapy sessions at a nearby physiotherapy clinic, just a minute's walk from Chinook. Their prenatal weightlifting program was straightforward but helped me stay active and accountable during my pregnancy. I had a severe pelvic floor tear, so I plan to return for further treatment to aid in my recovery.

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and have been fortunate to have received excellent care from a physiotherapist at Moss. It's worth noting that pelvic floor physiotherapy typically isn't offered until around 28-30 weeks of pregnancy, unless there's a concern about the pelvic floor.

I saw my PF physiotherapist starting at 14 weeks. There doesn’t need to be anything “wrong”. We worked on strengthening and I credit the work for my fast labour and recovery.
