I've noticed people playing loud music from their phones at the scenic overlooks in LA, especially around Mulholland. It's ruining the peaceful atmosphere and making it hard for me to enjoy the views. I'm wondering if others agree with me that this is bad etiquette.

It's bad etiquette, but unfortunately, people like that don't care about anyone else. Anti-social behavior is becoming the new normal, sadly.

It's trashy, low-IQ behavior. Confronting these people is a bad idea, though - they can fly into a violent rage quickly.

While opinions are divided, many people share your sentiment. On the other hand, some individuals don't agree and seem to enjoy playing music in public.

The constant noise of public music players can be overwhelming, especially in serene natural environments where people seek refuge from urban sounds. It's disheartening to encounter such disruptions.

Playing loud music from a phone in public areas is a thoughtless act. Whether it's music, video, or a speakerphone call, it's essential to be considerate of others and use headphones instead of disturbing the surroundings.
