The Cabildo de Tenerife is planning to introduce a shuttle bus service connecting La Laguna to the Anaga Rural Park by the end of the year. In the meantime, the Cabildo is taking other steps to improve accessibility in Anaga. Ten emergency repair projects, backed by €3.1 million, are underway to address damage caused by Storm Therese. Additionally, the council is exploring the integration of shuttle buses with public transit and on-demand transport services, as well as the development of park-and-ride facilities at Cruz de El Carmen and San Andrés.
Despite these plans, some delays are expected due to previous denials of requests made by the Cabildo. However, the local authorities remain committed to finding sustainable solutions for Anaga's mobility issues.
