Since moving to Warsaw in 2023, I’ve been exploring the city’s neighborhoods, and Powiśle has quickly become a go-to spot for both locals and expats like myself. This area is now teeming with exciting new dining and drinking options, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the best of Warsaw's culinary scene.

Exploring Powiśle’s Culinary Scene: New Favorites for Expats and Digital Nomads

Antresolec

Antresolec is a newcomer to the Powiśle scene, but it’s already making a big impact. This cozy bistro and bar offers a mix of comfort food and innovative dishes. Standouts include the duck confit flatbread and smash burgers. It’s the perfect place to unwind with friends or enjoy a leisurely meal.

Baires

For those with a taste for South American flavors, Baires is an excellent choice. This compact restaurant serves up hearty, meat-forward dishes with a Latin twist. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual dinner with friends or a family outing.

Baja Vegan Patisserie

For those with a sweet tooth, Baja Vegan Patisserie is a must-visit. This plant-based patisserie offers beautifully decorated cakes and sweets that are both visually appealing and delicious. It’s one of Powiśle’s standout dessert destinations, and a great place to satisfy your cravings without compromising on ethics.

Brainfarm

Brainfarm is a unique biohacking café that has evolved into a versatile dining establishment. While it still offers functional mushrooms and plant-based drinks, the menu now stretches from breakfast to dinner. The creative drinks and strong cooking make for a fun and engaging dining experience, especially on the outdoor seating area on Solec Street.

Butter Burger

Butter Burger rounds out our list with its classic American comfort food. This establishment serves up delicious burgers and other American favorites, perfect for those nostalgic for home cooking or just a good, hearty meal.
