My contract renewal is coming up and I have to make the choice to renew it or to move to a new flat. I'm currently living in a 60m² flat in Stary Mokotów, paying 4500 total. It's 10 minutes to the Pole Mokotowskie metro stop, and I have a Tram by the door to go up to Łazienki in 10 minutes. However, a friend's friend is offering me a flat on Bemowo for the same price, same dimensions but with a terrace.

I'm considering staying at the Ds Akademik dormitory, and I've heard mixed reviews about its condition. Some people say it's like a prison, but others claim that some floors have been renovated.

I'm planning to watch this match with my friends, but the official Legia website doesn't sell tickets yet. I found tickets on viagogo.com, but I'm not sure how reliable this website is.

I've read that it should be issued no later than six months from the date of application, but I've heard that the actual wait time is much longer. I've recently relocated to Warsaw for work and I've noticed that people stare at me on the street. I'm worried it might be because I'm a foreigner. My wife keeps telling me not to worry about it, but I'm still concerned.

Just sitting in Jazdów park enjoying the autumn air, and out of nowhere at around 18:20 I hear loads of what sounded like bursts of gunfire in the distance, from the other side of the Vistula most likely as it didn’t sound close. I doubt it was fireworks as it was still light and it’s a Sunday. Then hundreds of birds all around roosting the trees suddenly all fly away, most likely they got scared, it was all rather terrifying. Then moments later I heard dozens and dozens of Police sirens and a few ambulance sirens coming from everywhere going in a similar direction, they were loads going for about 15mins, and you can still hear them in the distance, but still every few minutes you can hear a few heading in the same direction. Anyone know what it was? Did anyone else hear all the commotion?

My Muslim friend is visiting me in Warsaw and I want to take them to a restaurant that serves halal food with traditional Polish cuisine, such as soups. However, I'm not sure if such places exist.

I'm a student in Warsaw and I don't have any skills, I'm looking for a part time job.

I finish work at 5 and want something to do in the evenings. Walks get boring fast, and the weather won't be great for cycling over the next few months. Museums are nice, but I want something more active, and I wouldn't go to a gym every day.

I'm looking for areas in Warsaw with a Soviet-era aesthetic, similar to East Berlin, featuring wide roads, flat blocks, and Soviet city planning.
