I'm getting frustrated with static shocks in my daily life, from elevator buttons to car door handles. I've heard humidifiers can help, but I'm not always at home. Are there any other tricks to avoid the zaps?

When you strike a metal object with sufficient force, the static electricity can be released without causing discomfort.

Keeping your skin covered and well-moisturized, especially on areas like your shins, arms, and hands, can help alleviate static shock.
