Toronto's SickKids Hospital to Get Immersive Theatre Experience
Toronto's SickKids Hospital is set to host an immersive theatre experience featuring performances by leading Canadian actors and a group of young performers. The production, titled *I See You*, aims to introduce the public to the Precision Child Health initiative at the hospital. The collaboration includes Outside the March, The Musical Stage Company, and Crow’s Theatre, and will be open to both staff and the public through a limited ticketing system.
The *I See You* production is a unique opportunity for the public to engage with the hospital's innovative Precision Child Health approach, which focuses on personalized and child-centered healthcare. The immersive experience will transform various parts of the hospital, including patient rooms and laboratories, into theatrical spaces. Members of the public can enter a drawing to win a limited number of tickets, which will be exclusively distributed to staff, patients, families, and supporters.
The creative team behind the production includes renowned artists such as Mitchell Cushman, Tanja Jacobs, and Kristen Thomson, with writing by Cushman, Jacobs, Thomson, and Rosamund Small. The event is part of SickKids Foundation’s efforts to engage the community and support their mission.
