South Tampa now has a new gem for coffee lovers and digital nomads alike with the opening of Mi Cafecito. This family-owned coffee shop, inspired by the coffee culture of Danny’s grandmother, offers a taste of Colombia right in the heart of SoHo. From its classic Colombian coffee to its delicious homemade arepas, Mi Cafecito is more than just a café; it's a space for connecting and savoring the flavors of home. The mobile coffee house has served over 400 events and 200 clients, providing a glimpse into Colombian coffee culture before the permanent cafe opened in September.

Located at 2202 W Platt St, Mi Cafecito is open Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. For coffee enthusiasts and those looking to connect over a cup, this new addition to Tampa’s dining scene is a must-visit.

What it means for expats and digital nomads: Mi Cafecito is a fantastic spot to enjoy a Colombian-inspired coffee and arepa in the comfort of their own neighborhood, offering a slice of home and a chance to connect with the community.
