Sailing Hibiscus

Hibiscus is a 48-foot sailing catamaran built in South Africa to handle the extreme wind and weather conditions off of Cape Horn or anywhere else in the world. Hibiscus has sailed the seven seas and now makes her home in the Gulf of Papagayo, Costa Rica providing exceptional day charters.

Headquarted in Tamarindo, Hibiscus offers public tours departing from Playa Matapalo at the RIU Palace and RIU Guanacaste as well as Playa del Coco. The boat is packed with amenities including trampolines for sunning and lounging, a shaded main salon, and an open air, extra large aft deck. You’ll also find aboard: fresh water shower, a clean restroom, well maintained snorkel gear, 2 kayaks, a stand up paddle board and a stairway to the sea.
