Don Jorge, known affectionately as 'La Perra,' began his career after learning from his uncle in his teenage years. “I’ve seen many changes in the world, but I’ve stayed the same. I’ve charged 5 pesos for so many years, and it’s just enough to support my family,” Don Jorge said with a grin. While he has faced challenges, such as parents upset about their children's unconventional hairstyles, Don Jorge has managed to keep a good sense of humor. He recalls one particularly memorable day when a young man with a large afro asked him to finish the haircut, only to return with only two pesos, leaving Don Jorge to finish the job with a chuckle.
