Carlitos Ramírez Brings Laughter and Political Sátira to Santurce’s Playa de Añasco
On October 24, comedian Carlitos Ramírez will bring his humorous take on Puerto Rican politics to the scenic Playa de Añasco, performing his show “¡Qué claje Malmau!” at Rancho Grande. Inspired by José Luis Dalmau, Ramírez’s character promises to blend satire, humor, and music, offering a unique blend of entertainment and political commentary.

“This is a humorous look at politics in Puerto Rico, which is already quite colorful. With the character of Malmau, I’m going to show you, in an impartial manner (with a wink), what’s happening in Puerto Rican politics, including everything we face daily,” Ramírez explained. The show will feature a live accordion performance, adding a fun and engaging twist to the political satire.
“Expect laughs, a little bit of shamelessness, and dancing. We’re going to make sure the audience is on their feet, because that’s what Malmau loves to do,” said Ramírez with a chuckle. His long-standing career as a comedian and librettist has prepared him well for this performance, and he’s eager to share his unique take on local politics.
