El Centro de Atletismo de Tenerife, CIAT, está situado en el barrio de Tíncer, en el extrarradio de la ciudad de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, y cercano a los límites que definen las montañas y la autopista.
El CIAT, es una instalación deportiva del Cabildo de Tenerife, que ofrece el equipamiento, los materiales deportivos y los servicios específicos para el perfeccionamiento del atletismo.
La instalación ha sido construida para la mejora del rendimiento deportivo, proporcionando a los deportistas de alto nivel las mejores condiciones de entrenamiento.
El CIAT, es una de las infraestructuras de referencia en la geografía insular, regional, nacional e internacional.
