Big Empty Parking Lots in Toronto?

My son is almost old enough to get his driving permit and I'd like to take him out to practice. Are there any huge parking lots that are mostly empty at least during the day on any day?

Have you considered GO train parking lots on the weekends? They're usually pretty empty, and it's a good place to practice parking in a big lot.

Another option is the Yonge and Finch TTC lot. It's a big parking lot that's usually pretty empty during the day.

Movie theatre lots are often empty during the day. That's where I learned to drive a manual, and it's a great place to practice turning and stopping.

Woodbine or Cloverdale malls might be good options. They're pretty dead during the week, but I'm not sure about the weekends.

GO lots on the outskirts of the city, or the CNE grounds and parking lots in downtown Toronto, are good options. Just be aware that some places might kick you out, and the CNE grounds can get busy if there's a game or convention going on.

The CNE grounds are a good choice if there's no convention going on. They're pretty empty, and you can practice on the lights and stop signs.
