The new regulations establish clear rules for activities, penalties for damages, and enhance accessibility and inclusion, including smoke-free zones and restrictions on hygiene products and disruptive music.

This initiative, approved in the Boletín Oficial de la Provincia on October 7, designates all municipal beaches and pools as smoke-free zones. It prohibits the use of hygiene products in showers and bathing areas, littering, camping, and playing disruptive music unless permitted for emergencies or authorized events.

The new regulations include measures to enhance accessibility and inclusion, addressing barriers for individuals with physical limitations. Additionally, recently upgraded lifeguard services will improve safety at these locations.

Notably, the ordinance designates all municipal beaches and pools as smoke-free zones. It prohibits the use of hygiene products in showers and bathing areas, littering, camping, and playing disruptive music unless permitted for emergencies or authorized events.

This initiative covers all natural pools and beaches within the municipality, specifically including Bajamar, Jover in Tejina, La Barranquera in Valle de Guerra, and El Arenisco in Punta del Hidalgo.
