I've been noticing that many of my friends who are beautiful are still single. My wife and I have a 2-year-old daughter, and we've been wondering if this is a cultural change or if there's just not enough stable and emotionally responsible men out there for them to choose from.

Many women don't want to get married because they're focused on their careers. Others don't want to have children without financial stability or haven't found a suitable partner. And then there are some who are just beautiful and single, I guess.

I'm beautiful and single because I'm too busy with online university and I prefer to stay at home, to be honest.

Panama's younger generation has become more discerning. The older generation has set a precedent where men who lack financial stability or emotional maturity are no longer considered suitable partners. The widespread acceptance of infidelity and men who only seek to meet their basic needs has contributed to the decrease in marriage rates. People share stories of their dating experiences, describing the streets as a place where only the most desperate or vulnerable individuals are found. Essentially, women have become more mature and independent, while men continue to behave in a childish manner.

I want to get married, I want a partner who sees me as a companion, a partner, an equal. Someone who wants to do things together, but also understands that we don't have to do everything together and can have our own moments of independence. I want a man who wants to be a husband, who still wants to woo me every day like we're still in the early stages of our relationship. I want a provider, but also someone who understands that his wife is there to support and help him, and that it should be a mutual relationship. I want a friend, a lover, a companion, someone who understands me and loves me for who I am.

That's what I call Relationship Goals. I wish you could find someone like that.

I wish you the best. As a man, I'm looking for the same thing, but I've found that many women initially say they're interested in a relationship like that, but then they drop their guard after a few months.

Well, to be honest, the common stereotype of Panamanian men is that they make jokes about checking out other women, being unfaithful, or pretending to be blind to their partners' flaws. If that's the general attitude, I don't think women would be eager to find a partner, especially if they think they're better off on their own.

It's not that we're not interested in getting married, personally, I would like to have a family, get married, and have a home. But most men have an idealized view of women, considering that most of this generation were raised by single mothers, who sacrificed everything to provide for them, and that's an example of the kind of woman they admire. Meanwhile, we women see that as a warning sign. I don't want to raise my children alone, I don't want to come home from work exhausted.
