I'm still waiting to hear back from a company in Little Italy after four interviews. What's the highest number of interviews you've had with a company before receiving a rejection letter?

I'm confused by the current pace, as I've witnessed lengthy selection processes that take months. In my past experience, the hiring process involved a single interview, followed by a phone call informing me of my start date.

Exactly, you're left feeling hopeful because they tell you everything went well during the interview and that they'll call you in two weeks.

A pro tip is to ask during an interview if they have any questions or concerns about your abilities for the job. That way, you can address any doubts they may have and avoid the 'you don't meet the requirements' excuse.

In my case, they didn't even tell me anything during the interviews. Most places I went to were pretty straightforward.

Usually, I've only had two interviews, but I've noticed that in recent years, people are going through at least three or four interviews before receiving a classic rejection response.
