When should we arrive at the LA Memorial Coliseum for the USC vs. Oregon game?

My girlfriend and I are visiting Los Angeles from Germany, and we're going to our first ever American football game this Saturday: Oregon Ducks @ USC Trojans at the LA Memorial Coliseum. We're both tourists and have never been to a college football game before, so we're really excited but also have absolutely no idea how early we should arrive.

You can also hang out on campus before the game. Tailgating there is a lot of fun, especially when the marching band goes through. One o'clock seems like a good time to arrive, but you'll probably see people earlier than that.

I love watching the band procession before the game. You can also kill some time by walking around the rose garden and taking photos. There's a great boba place called Hey Tea that serves a delicious grape jasmine tea drink, and next to it is an inexpensive Onigiri spot called Tenori. After the game, you can head to Mercado La Paloma or Softies for a smashburger.

I'm excited to be at the game too! One o'clock is a good time to arrive, and you'll have a fantastic time cheering on the team. The energy in the stadium is electric, and you'll be surrounded by USC spirit - just remember to wear cardinal and gold, not green.

If you're comfortable striking up conversations with strangers, you might be invited to a tailgate. Americans are known for their hospitality, and they'd love to share their spread with visitors. Just be sure to bring a pack of beer to share, and you'll fit right in.
