I was getting a medicine at Dr. Pharmacy in the East Valley for $50, but UCH is now charging me $100 a month. Does anyone know of any mom/pop pharmacies in PHX that might be able to match?

Have you looked into GoodRx? They might offer discounts and other savings options.

I recently got a prescription for a topical steroid. When I showed my insurance card at Walgreens, they quoted me $160 per tube. However, when I asked about the price without insurance, they said it would be $150 per tube. I ended up going to Costco pharmacy, where I got two tubes for $40. I think it's ridiculous how expensive big pharmacies can be.

I've been able to get a three-month supply of my medication for $50 by calling a local pharmacy. They're able to offer this price because they have a different arrangement with my insurance provider. Everywhere else I've looked wants to charge me $200 per month.

I use a local pharmacy to get my medication, Slynd, and it costs me $50 for a three-month supply. They also offer free delivery, which is convenient.

Melrose pharmacy is located on 7th Avenue, between Indian School Road and the canal.
