Puerto Vallarta has been recognized for its contributions to tourism, earning three nominations in the 2026 Ángel del Turismo Awards. This prestigious accolade highlights the city's efforts in public management and business merit, making it a top destination for visitors and residents alike.

Puerto Vallarta Earns Ángel del Turismo Nominations

The Ángel del Turismo Awards, in their 11th year, aim to honor destinations that excel in meeting tourism needs, hosting conventions, and large professional gatherings. Puerto Vallarta’s historic center and Malecón, along with the convention center and hotel inventory, are key factors in this recognition. The public can vote until October 15, with the winners to be announced at the Night of Angels gala on October 29 in Puebla.

For expats and digital nomads like myself, living in Puerto Vallarta means being part of a community that values both tourism and local life. This nomination is a sign of the city’s ongoing commitment to quality and service. It’s an opportunity to support the local economy and celebrate the beauty of our surroundings.
