Puerto Morelos Commences Analysis of Hidratic Infrastructure
Puerto Morelos Mayor Blanca Merari Tziu Muñoz held a meeting with CAPA Director Héctor Segundo Masegosa Llanas to analyze the municipality's need for water and sanitation infrastructure. The mayor emphasized the importance of coordination with the state institution to ensure sustainable and ordered development. The meeting aimed to address the growing needs of Puerto Morelos, which is experiencing urban expansion.

Blanca Merari stated, 'We are working closely with CAPA to analyze the feasibility of the infrastructure required by Puerto Morelos and to project water and sanitation services in line with our municipality's growth.' The mayor highlighted the significance of long-term planning to support sustainable and organized development.
Mayor Melo Novelo provided an overview of the municipal planning instruments, which consider population growth projections and urban development. This will enable the municipality to plan for basic services necessary for its growth.
