Will I get compensation for excessive road closures in my neighborhood for a production shoot?

My neighborhood is being shut down for 5 days for a production that is filming. My street that gives access to my driveway is shut down, and every single nearby side street is also shut down. I'm wondering if it's reasonable to ask for compensation or parking arrangements from the production company.

If you're concerned about disruptions, it's best to be proactive. I've had a similar experience recently. A whole block was shut down while filming was taking place, and we were able to negotiate compensation with the location manager. This was possible because we had current examples of the disruption to point to.
