Orlando Q&A

I was driving back from Tampa last night and saw a lot of damaged cars on I-4 between midnight and 2am. I'm used to seeing accidents on I-4, but not this many at once.

I've been really into solo journaling RPGs lately and have them on PDFs, but I'd love to shop local and get some physical books. Preferably in the Winter Park area. I've popped into a few stores and haven't really been able to find what I've been looking for.

We're on the west side but willing to drive. Are there any stores that usually have more funky stuff?

I was in Winter Garden this morning and noticed the older brick building that houses the chef's table restaurant looked abandoned. I'm wondering if there are any plans to turn it into permanent housing or if it's going to be updated into a hotel.

My wife and daughter were driving off 414 heading north into Altamonte Springs near Bear Lake Road and Rose Avenue when they saw racist graffiti on a wall. It read 'A bunch of n-words live here' along with a Nazi symbol. Did anyone else see this or get a picture of it?

I'm going to the solar bears game tonight and would love to take advantage of the change in concession prices, but everything I've read about it makes the changes seem like they're only for magic games?

I'm visiting Orlando a couple of times a year, and I'm planning to go to Mills on Halloween. I want to know how much I should prepare myself for in terms of cover charges.

I'm getting taxed at the one I usually go to right now, and I'm looking for cheap thca flower, not vapes.

I'm a breastfeeding mom with a flight from Orlando to the UK and I've got frozen breastmilk in milk bags that I'm hoping to bring with me.

I'm planning a trip and I want to make sure I get the right seat. I've seen a few old posts about Brightline seats, but I'm not sure if they're still accurate. Can anyone confirm whether the seating chart is correct for forward facing seats on the Southbound route from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale?

I've been getting a lot of emails about it and I'm hoping my electric bill stays around the same area.

I was at Barnes and Noble and experienced a blackout. I thought it was just the store, but it appeared to be the whole mall. There were fire trucks and possibly some cops. I heard rumors that it may have been a fire, but no fire alarm rang.

We're a married couple with a baby looking at renting in Baldwin or Winter Garden. We like cute cafes, restaurants, gyms, and other young families. My husband thinks Baldwin might be easier to be social in, but I worry about getting bored. Winter Garden could be quiet until our kid is older.

I sold a car to Florida Elite Cars LLC for cash, and 30 days later, they still haven't transferred the title. I've tried calling, emailing, and leaving a negative review, but they haven't responded. I've also filed a complaint with the DMV, but my temporary tag has expired. I have a bill of sale and receipt, but I need help getting them to transfer the title.

We're looking for a park in the Orlando area with nice campsites and more activities than Moss Park, like kayak rentals and trails. We usually go to Moss Park every winter, but we want to try something different this time.

I was driving home from work tonight and saw fighter jets flying really low over the Waterford area. I've never seen anything like it before.

I've been searching for a while now, but Zillow and Apartments.com seem to be showing me apartments that are way out of my budget. I'm looking for something around $1200 a month, and I'm happy to consider living outside of the city to save some funds.

I was watching the news this morning and they were broadcasting from Lake Eola. They were here last October broadcasting and didn't say why and I couldn't find out why. Also someone created a post 2 years ago asking the same question. Anyone know why David Muir and Martha Raddatz are here?

I discovered it last year at Presidente, it's my favorite dessert, and I know it's a seasonal item. I paid around $5 for it last year.

I've been really wanting to get into drawing but I really need help on the basics. I feel like taking a class would be a great way to learn plus it would get me out of the house. However most of the places I have seen are pottery or painting. Is there anyplace that does like beginner sketching?
