Puerto Vallarta has once again secured a top spot on the list of international Thanksgiving travel destinations, ranking eighth among all international destinations according to Allianz Partners' 2026 Top Thanksgiving Destinations report. This stability marks Puerto Vallarta as a reliable choice for holiday travel, especially as peak season approaches.

The report analyzed over 145,000 U.S. itineraries for flights leaving from airports in the U.S. between November 21 and 26, and returning between November 27 and December 1. With Cancún leading the way, Puerto Vallarta is now in the top ten of international destinations, following destinations like San José del Cabo, Punta Cana, and Mexico City.
