I'm planning a 12-night trip to Mexico for the first time, traveling solo. I'll be staying in Playa del Carmen for 7 nights, Isla Mujeres for 3 nights, and Cancun for 2 nights. I don't know how to drive, so I'll be traveling without a car. I'm looking for a place with nice beaches, walkable streets, and some activities to do, but I don't want to spend too much money.

I'm trying to find a true 1-bedroom apartment in Playa del Carmen, but even when I filter for 1+ bedrooms on Facebook Marketplace, many listings are actually studios advertised as one-bedrooms. I'm looking for a long-term, furnished apartment with a separate bedroom, natural light, and a balcony within a 10-minute walk of the beach. My budget is up to $1,500-$1,700 USD/month.

I'm planning a two-week solo trip to the Mexican Caribbean in mid-November and I'm having a hard time deciding where to base myself. My original plan was to stay in Playa del Carmen, but I've been reading that the beaches there aren't that great, and that Cancun actually has much nicer beaches. So, what's the main reason people recommend staying in Playa del Carmen so much? Aside from its convenient location and easy access to other destinations, is it actually a good place to enjoy the beach? Since spending time at beautiful beaches is one of my main priorities, would you recommend staying somewhere else instead? And if so, where?

My friend and I are soon arriving in Playa del Carmen and we want to make the most of our stay by doing some diving. We both have our Open Water certification and are excited to explore the underwater world of the region!

I'll be in Playa Del Carmen the first few days of November and was curious if and how I could respectfully partake in whatever non-family-only celebrations there are.

I'm planning to visit my friend in Playa del Carmen and I'll be landing at Cancun airport terminal 3. I'm wondering if there's a separate exit for the Friends and Family pickup zone, just like in terminal 4.

My partner and I will be departing from Terminal 3 at 3:55PM on Saturday 11/21. We're staying at the Unico 20.87 resort and have arranged for a transfer company to pick us up at 11AM. However, we'd rather not be sitting at the airport for 2.5 - 3 hours before our flight, especially since we've never had to wait more than 1 - 1.5 hours before departure at other airports. Is this still the 'slow' period at Cancun and what can you suggest?

I've been getting quotes for a private transfer from Playa del Carmen to Cancun airport for my family of four and one quote came in at 800 pesos, which seems like a good price. I've been searching online and looking for recommendations from friends.

I'm planning a solo trip to Mexico and want to enjoy the beach with warm weather, even at night. I have 10 days to spend and am considering visiting in November or December. I've heard that the first two weeks of December can be cooler. I'm also concerned about sargasso. What's the best time to visit and where should I stay?

I have an old TV and a blender that I need to get rid of, but I'm not sure how to dispose of them properly in Playa del Carmen.
