Why are my water bills so high in Goodyear?

I'm an Argentine parent of two living in Phoenix for nine years. My kids are in school, and we like to spend our weekends exploring the area. I'm concerned about the high water bills in Goodyear, and I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue. I've noticed that our water bill has been steadily increasing over the past few months, and I'm not sure what's causing it. Is it just me, or are other people in Goodyear seeing similarly high water bills?

Which part of Goodyear are you located in? There are three water companies in the area, with Liberty implementing a 43% increase on the north side of the 10 and east of the 303.

I agree, the prices are outrageous. We have a pool, which doesn't help, and we checked our sprinklers for leaks last winter, which brought our bill down to around $120. However, in the summer, our bill is $200-250, which is still crazy.
