I've been working for a reputable company in Panama City for a few years now, and I love my job and my colleagues. However, the pay is low, and I'm worried that I'll be stuck in this situation for a long time. I've had other job offers with higher salaries, but I'm not sure if the environment will be good. I'm currently in my last year of university and will be graduating soon, at which point I'll be eligible for a salary increase. But I'm not sure if I should wait for that or take a chance on a higher-paying job now.

If you feel the need to leave, then go. Or at least stay for the experience. That way, you'll have labor experience that many people ask for until you graduate.

You're in paradise, and a year will pass quickly. There are many companies outside with a very bad work environment, and with the country's economic situation, it's better to stay stable in a place where you're valued.

Facts, I earn well in my job and I know I could earn more in another place, but the work environment, the proximity to my work, and all the free time I have make me think that I wouldn't change this job for anything.

Don't change jobs, the work environment weighs more than the salary. I've read many posts from people who changed jobs and regretted it. Especially in these uncertain times, having what you have is a luxury.

Professional life has many stages, you're just starting out and you have a year to finish your degree, that time will pass quickly. Your priority should be to graduate, and if you see it that way, the environment and everything else will support you in achieving that goal. A bad work environment, a bad boss, labor stress will end your motivation to study in 2-3 years. Salary? Nah, you have decades after you graduate to multiply your income.

This. You don't know what you have until you lose it. Take it easy, if the need isn't great, hold on. It's also possible that they'll take advantage of you and not give you a big raise or will play games with you. So don't close all your doors. What's important is that you finish your degree full-time. Everything else will have its moment.

Stay. It's just a year. If after a year they don't adjust your salary to a reasonable one, then you can think about changing, already with a degree and more than a year of experience.
