Queer friendly and affordable salon in NDG area or downtown?

I run a small taco stand in Montreal and I desperately need a hair cut but I'm also really protective/nervous about hair cuts. I'd like to see someone that knows how to cut long hair and do things like wolf cuts but some of the prices are staggering and I'm really nervous about my hair being messed up.

If you're looking for a haircut with a unique atmosphere, Haircuts for Everyone on St Zotique offers a sliding scale price system, a cozy setting, and accommodates various hair types. They also cater to the queer community.

Casse-Tête in Verdun is known for being welcoming to the queer community, and you can ask for Franco or Emily for a great experience.

It's a great opportunity to explore a new part of the city, and you might discover some hidden gems along the way, like the charming streets and cafes in the Plateau Mont-Royal area.
