I haven't lived in Miami consistently for about 15 years. In that time, I've been back twice (once I was stuck there during Covid). I've got a wife and family now that I've never really explored Miami with.

Miami is a city in constant flux, with a history of rapid growth and transformation. The city you grew up in may be unrecognizable today, but there are still remnants of its past. Try to appreciate the unique aspects of each era, and don't be too disheartened by the changes you see. Miami's post-pandemic revitalization is a prime example of this ongoing transformation.
